For ten years now, the Los Cabos International Food Festival has prided itself in highlighting the best in Los Cabos cuisine. In fact, it has now become one of the world’s best events of its kind. Sabor a Cabo has now been considered an international event, now that it is on its tenth year of celebration. The reason for this is because the festival has also come to promote Los Cabos cuisine, similar to the region’s promotion of its tourism attractions like golf and fishing.Alfonso Vazquez Olivas, Sabor a Cabo President, announced that this year’s theme is “Simmering… A Tribute to Mexican Roots” where the traditional food and wines of Baja California Sur will be showcased. Sabor a Cabo 2016 Schedule
Day 1 (December 2): Beer Fest
Starting at 5PM at Plaza El Pescador, Cabo San Lucas will play host to a wide range of food vendors, live music, and traditional crafts. The highlight, of course, is a display of a selection of Mexico’s best beers.
Day 2 (December 3): Art Walk and Wine
San Jose del Cabo’s gallery district will welcome its guests at 5PM and treat them to an evening of stunning art and delicious food, accompanied by an innovative selection of Mexico’s fine wines.
Day 3 (December 5): Evening Under the Stars
Dubbed as the main event, this will take place in Chileno Bay. It will feature food and drinks from almost 40 restaurants as guests will be serenaded with a live performance by singer-songwriter Lila Downs.
Los Cabos has so much culinary offerings and this wonderful event is the perfect place to experience them all.
