San Jose del Cabo is the quaint and colorful historic town that’s framed by beautiful, calm streets and colonial buildings.It’s jam-packed with character –part of that character is because of all the local artists and galleries that fill San Jose’s narrow streets.
Every Thursday night, the streets, and the whole town come alive as locals and tourists come together to view the fantastic local artists while enjoying delicious drinks and food. The Art Walk happens every Thursday from 5-9 p.m. from the end of October through May. On the streets, behind the Church, you will find a corridor full of culture and art galleries.
The main town center, Plaza Mijares has live music on the stage and the area is bustling, as are the streets because for the night they are transformed into traffic-free, pedestrian-only streets. You can walk through all the galleries, meet the artists and oftentimes enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks!
So whether you’re an art connoisseur, an art lover, or just curious about what’s going on here, the Art Walk is a must-see when you come to San José del Cabo.
